Since October 2017, Frank Böttcher has headed up the Rhenoflex Group as CEO. He came from Der Grüne Punkt – Duales System Germany GmbH, where he was Managing Director. Previously, he worked for DKR Deutsche Gesellschaft für Kreislaufwirtschaft und Rohstoffe mbH, first as COO and then as CEO. He began his professional career with the Rüttgers Group, where he held various management positions.
For more than 16 years, he has held C-Level and Management Board positions in international corporate groups. Frank Böttcher holds a degree in business administration for Foreign Trade and Foreign Economics from the University of Applied Sciences Worms.
Since October 2021, Michael Stotz has headed up the Rhenoflex Group as CFO. He came from the FRIMO Group, where he was as well as a CFO. He began his professional career at Homag Group AG in the Black Forest, where he very quickly assumed management responsibility and served as Senior Vice President Controlling and Commercial Managing Director for several years in each position.
Michael Stotz holds a degree in business administration and gained more than 20 years of experience in different finance and controlling positions in industrial enterprises with international business.
Dr. Gunter Scharfenberger has been part of the Rhenoflex Management as CTO since January 2019. He came from the Freudenberg Group, where he most recently worked for Freudenberg Performance Materials as Head of R&D Global Apparel Division. Within his remit, he coordinated the topic of "Sustainability" for the Apparel global division as well as the Technology Platform Nonwovens for Freudenberg SE. In total, he worked within the Freudenberg Group for more than 15 years.
Dr. Gunter Scharfenberger holds a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz and the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz.
Stanley Chau has been part of the Rhenoflex management team since April 2019. Prior to joining Rhenoflex, he held international management positions, most recently with Huntsman Advanced Materials where he held significant responsibility as APAC Manufacturing Director. Prior to that, Stanley Chau held various positions at Ciba Specialty Chemicals with overseas assignments in Switzerland and the UK - in his last role there he was Region China Sales Head.
Stanley Chau holds a master's degree in chemical engineering from Aston University in England.
